ACTION SPOTLIGHT

Tell Interior Secretary Deb Haaland: Save Yellowstone's Wolves from Senseless Killing

Gray wolves are facing new threats to their survival in the Northern Rockies. This season alone, around 20% of the wolves from Yellowstone National Park have been killed by hunters and trappers, and that number of dead wolves is expected to climb as the year goes on.

Make your voice heard now to help restore Endangered Species Act protections to gray wolves in the Northern Rockies.

CAMPAIGN UPDATE

One More Nail in the Coffin for the Destructive Pebble Mine Project

Despite opposition from local Indigenous communities, commercial fishermen, and hundreds of thousands of NRDC members, Northern Dynasty, the company behind the Pebble Mine – the destructive gold-and-copper mega-mine slated for the headwaters of Alaska's pristine Bristol Bay watershed – continues its desperate push to get the mine approved. Recently, they released a self-serving economic assessment promising billions in revenue for southwest Alaska. But an independent assessment has shown this is far from reality, concluding that the destructive Bristol Bay mining project risks losing "many hundreds of millions to multiple billions of dollars."

The EPA is considering whether to permanently kill the Pebble Mine and save Bristol Bay, its wildlife, and the way of life for surrounding Indigenous communities. Send a message to EPA Administrator Michael Regan now in opposition to this disastrous mega-mine.
