Growing up in a military family, I never lived in one place for very long. When I moved to the Lehigh Valley more than 30 years ago, I fell in love with the community, and I knew this was where I wanted to stay.

My two children were born here and attended our public schools. I built my career here and became a community leader. So when I saw Washington politicians ignoring our voices, I knew I had to take a stand.

Now, Washington Republicans are trying to replace me with a self-funded opponent who will support their far-right agenda. We can’t let them win.
