[1]NNU - Medicare for All!
Today, we're
celebrating a huge victory.
Medicare for All has not one, not two, but THREE new cosponsors, bringing
the total number of cosponsors in Congress up to 121 — a record-breaking
milestone for our movement.
This victory is the direct result of months of dedicated organizing, with
hundreds of volunteers like you working hard to build momentum in the
fight for guaranteed health care for all.
We’ve got big plans to keep growing our movement to pass Medicare for All
in Congress, but we’re going to need your
help. [ [link removed] ]Will you join us for our Medicare for All National Strategy Call
on Monday, Feb. 28, to hear the latest in our fight to win single-payer
health care for all?

This major victory demonstrates that organizing works. Last year, a major
goal of our campaign was to reach 119 cosponsors for HR 1976 — one more
than we had on last session’s Medicare for All bill. Now, with a
record-breaking 121 cosponsors on board, we are well on our way to
building the movement of support necessary to win Medicare for All in
Congress.
This news comes after a difficult week for guaranteed health care in
California. Last Monday, we were extremely disappointed that California
delayed a vote on our single-payer health care bill known as CalCare.
But our
fight continues. We will continue to push harder than ever to pass
Medicare for All nationally and in California when there is a new bill
next year. We have many opportunities ahead of us to grow our movement for
single-payer health care — but we’ll need everyone on board to make it
happen.

February 28, at 5pm PT/8pm ET to celebrate our victory and hear the next
steps to passing Medicare for All?
We’re so excited for what’s to come.
Together,
Alex Newell Taylor
