I have an important ask to make ahead of our critical fundraising deadline tonight at midnight. I hope you’ll give me a minute to explain why this is so important.

Our first fundraising deadline of February is coming up in just a few hours. We have to put up a strong showing. But there’s another reason why this is so important.

We’re running against at least one candidate with the backing of a $10 million super PAC and another who has committed to spending $50 million in this election. We actually have SEVEN opponents in total so far. We’ve endured millions of dollars in attack ads already, with more on the way. And Donald Trump flew to Arizona and directly attacked our campaign just last month.

So I need your help to keep up the momentum in the face of these challenges.  It’s going to take lots of people making donations of $3, $5 or $10 to get us to our $50,000 contribution goal by midnight.

My team tells me we’re close, and if we can get there, it’ll show that our campaign is more determined than ever to defend this seat. You can see how important this is, which is why I have to ask:

If you’re able, will you split a $5 donation between my people-powered campaign and my friend, Senator Shaheen? The amount isn’t as important as the donation itself.
