2022 Parsonage Inspection Form - Due March 1

The Parsonage Inspection Form is due March 1. All churches that own a parsonage are required to complete this form, even if your pastor does not live in it.

A blank copy of the form can be found on the Forms page of the conference website. If the pastor lives in the parsonage, please use the Pastor form. If the church rents the parsonage, please use the "Renters" form.

Every year the Missouri Annual Conference celebrates and honors the ministry of churches and United Methodists across the state through the MOAC Awards. You’re invited to nominate an individual or church for their work in mission, discipleship, evangelism, or inclusiveness, justice and worth.

This year's Academy will focus on effective storytelling and practical ways to learn from the stories of others. During the virtual Preaching Academy, you’ll learn from Nikki Lerner and others as you update your preaching toolkit, learn new narrative preaching techniques, and process the joys and challenges of preaching in a peer learning group.

Faith After Ferguson Monthly Book Study

Registration Closes February 24.

Join us this spring for a four-part, virtual book study on Rev. Dr. Leah Gunning Francis’s work Faith After Ferguson: Resilient Leadership in Pursuit of Racial Justice. During each 90-minute session, Gunning Francis and guest facilitators will guide us in fruitful conversation, reflection and learning related to our shared race and culture work.

Thinking Theologically – Christian Theology of Place Class

This March, join facilitator Rev. Rodney Aist on an exploration of place in the three-part series Home and Away: A Christian Theology of Place. This virtual class takes a nuanced approach to sacred places, explores the theological distinctions between space and place, and discusses the spirituality of differentiated places.

Communicating Across Generations Workshop

Registration Closes March 14.

Join us on March 19 at Camdenton UMC for a workshop on bridging the gap between generations. Jennifer Smith, CEO of Midwest Strategies, will guide you and your leadership team as we learn how to better communicate and welcome people of all ages. Space is limited for this IN-PERSON experience. Laity and local church leadership teams are encouraged to attend.
