Team,

In case you missed it, Trump’s favorite sidekick Rudy Giuliani was recently revealed to be a contestant on Fox’s goofy television show The Masked Singer.

Yes, you read that right. The same man who claims that the 2020 election was “stolen” from Donald Trump and assisted in some of the Trump administration’s most heinous crimes went on primetime television to dress up and sing songs for laughs. We, too, wish we were kidding.

While the image of Rudy singing and dancing around might get a laugh at first, this is all part of a larger trend of Republicans normalizing their dangerous and antidemocratic extremism. The threat of normalization does not always take the form of calling January 6th “normal political discourse.” Here, it’s a seemingly less harmful tactic — but achieves the same effect.

We cannot let these extremists normalize their dangerous views in our politics or our culture. If you agree, will you add your name to our petition condemning Rudy’s appearance? [[link removed]]

REMIND RUDY: YOU'RE A CRIMINAL, NOT A SINGER [[link removed]]

Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and the band of GOP criminals they associate with present a real and present danger to our democracy. They do not belong in the Oval Office, in the halls of Congress, or even on the stage of The Masked Singer.

Thank you,
