Josh Stein for Attorney General

Hi there, how are you doing? As you know, we’ve had a busy start to the year. From defending your fundamental right to vote to protecting student loan borrowers, we’ve been focused on securing wins for the people of North Carolina. But I also wanted to share an update of where our work has taken me around the state.

One of my favorite parts of my job is traveling around North Carolina and getting to have direct conversations with the people I serve. So, I wanted to share a few highlights from the past month:

First, I went out west to meet with the North Carolina Chiefs of Police in Cherokee and stopped in Robbinsville. Here’s the beautiful Graham County courthouse:

We also visited Wilmington, stopping by the Port of Wilmington and had a great tour of the facility. They are expanding dramatically, and I’m excited to see its impact on North Carolina’s economy.

And recently, our team helped collect unneeded prescription drugs at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. I’m grateful to the Hurricanes, Raleigh Police, and the SBI for their partnership in our fight against the opioid epidemic.

Connecting with constituents is an important way to hear how we can work together to improve North Carolina’s communities, but we need support to help us do it. Can you pitch in to help power our work?
