This is... something, John.

One of our opponents, former State Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, made news last week. He used campaign cash to put up two billboards in CA-08 that read "Pray for President Trump!" Perhaps you've even seen them?

Yes, this is a real billboard that our opponent put up. 

That's right, John. Zero policy platform. No plan for our district. Like too many Republicans in Congress, Donnelly's sole focus is protecting the president at all costs -- not the people of CA-08. It's actually quite disturbing.

This is a pretty clear indication of where Tim's priorities lie: "Vote for me and I'll do whatever Trump tells me to do."

We'll never use your donations for something so ridiculous, but if you contribute now, we'll make sure Tim doesn't make it anywhere near the halls of Congress to represent our community.

No matter what you think of the strategy, it's clear this race is ramping up quickly and that we need to respond immediately.

Remember, Tim Donnelly is starting this campaign with much higher name recognition than Chris, so in order to counter this we'll need to bump up our paid advertising plan. That means increasing our budget.
