Investing in our law enforcement and first responders has always been a priority for me and I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish for the brave men and women in blue who work every day to keep us safe.
When many Democrats fought to defund the police, my administration and Ohio Republican leaders increased funding, including an additional $250 million to help local law enforcement in crime prevention and to boost first responder services.
While President Biden and the D.C. Democrats have allowed fentanyl and other drugs to flood across our border, we sent the Ohio National Guard and Ohio Highway Patrol to help secure the border and keep the cartels out of America!
I’ve spent my entire career fighting crime and you can be sure that in my second term as governor, I will remain focused on protecting our families and communities.
