** Formation Of An
Italian Caucus
------------------------------------------------------------

The New York Young Republican Club is excited to announce the formation of the Italian Caucus.

The Italian Caucus was established to represent Club members with Italian heritage. The Caucus promotes key conservative values within the Italian-American community.

More than 17 million Americans have Italian ancestry and share Italian culture. This is especially true in New York City, where Italian-Americans retain a strong, proud, and prominent identity.

The Italian-American story in the United States is deeply rooted in conservative values, including family, free enterprise, religious freedom, and rule of law. Italians in America are a living example of the American Dream we want to protect.

The current officers of the Italian Caucus are as follows:

Chairman: Cesare Ancherani

Vice-Chairman: Luca D. Di Giacomo

Treasurer: Christopher D. Senzapaura

Secretary: Joseph M. Verde

** Endorsement: Claudia Tenney For Congress (NY-23)
------------------------------------------------------------

The New York Young Republican Club proudly endorses Claudia Tenney for New York’s new 23rd Congressional District. Claudia Tenney is an ardent businesswoman, attorney, and public servant in New York’s current 22nd District. As the daughter of the late Honorable John Tenney, a former judge on the Supreme Court of New York in the Fifth Judicial District, Tenney is an adamant defender of her constituents’ constitutional rights. Her expertise in public service has been shaped by her experience as a small business owner, as well as her experience raising her son as a single mother.

Elected in November of 2016, Tenney represents New York’s 22nd District, which encompasses eight counties in Upstate New York. Her work serving New York’s 22nd District was preceded by her election to the New York State Assembly. Tenney strongly advocates for the taxpayers in Upstate New York on an array of issues concerning her district and the nation. Her reputation as a representative precedes her role as a Congresswoman. While serving in the New York State Assembly, Tenney sponsored legislation to eliminate New York’s state personal income tax, and has voted against all tax increases proposed. Tenney fought for New Yorkers’ Second Amendment rights by being the first person to repeal former Governor Cuomo’s “SAFE Act.” Tenney has continually reached across the aisle and worked with Democrats and other party members alike.

Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, Tenney prioritized the needs of small business owners, working families, and farmers in NY-22. She fights to bring jobs back to her district, leveraging her membership on the House Manufacturing Caucus to walk-back overbearing regulation of the manufacturing industry. She simultaneously encourages the creation of new opportunities to stimulate growth and expansion. To further preserve and protect the rights of her constituents, Tenney pledges to further fight any present or future vaccine mandates and proudly supports local law enforcement throughout her district.

The New York Young Republican Club strongly urges all NY-23 CongressionalDistrict voters to support Claudia Tenney for Congress.
