John,

Days ago, the Republican National Committee (RNC) officially called the violent January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol “legitimate political discourse,” and voted to censure two of their own representatives for courageously supporting the Jan. 6 investigation.

Republicans are literally defending a violent mob attacking police officers, breaking and entering the Capitol, and threatening lawmakers’ lives — as well as Trump’s “Stop the Steal” rally and efforts to overturn the results of a free and fair election — as “legitimate political discourse.” That is utterly bonkers.

With our fragile democracy on the line, Fitzpatrick and his fellow Republicans have once again chosen party over country. Not only are they justifying what was essentially an attempted coup on our democratic government, but they are punishing the two members of their party who had the spines to speak out against it. The GOP are becoming more extreme by the day.

This is exactly why we need to replace Fitzpatrick at the ballot box and give PA-01 a leader in Washington who is unafraid to put the people first.

Fundraising has slowed since February started, and Fitzpatrick has $1.5 million in the bank. Can you make a grassroots donation of $10 or whatever you can afford today to help me defeat Fitzpatrick in November and defend our democracy in Congress?

Thanks for standing with me on the right side of history,

Ashley
