I know, everyone has been talking about the presidential debates over the past few days.

It's true that it was exciting to hear candidates discuss their plans to advance progress and defend our values on important issues.

But this is important: We can't forget about the Senate.

We know we need to take back the White House. But if we elect a Democratic president, they will need a Democratic Senate to help move forward their priorities, put together their cabinet, and fill any Supreme Court vacancies.

For years we've seen how the Republican-controlled Senate has impeded progress in this country. That needs to end next November.
