Our country is at a crossroads where we have to decide who we are and what we stand for. Every day, President Trump is fueling hate and stoking fear for political gain, abdicating our country's position of moral authority in the world and seeking to destroy democratic institutions and the rule of law. We know who Donald Trump is -- he shows us that every day. The question we have to answer is: "Who are we?"

Maybe you, like me, have not previously been politically active. But the stakes now are too high for any of us to watch from the sidelines. Regardless of your preferred primary candidate, I think we can all agree that the most important objective is to defeat Donald Trump and elect a Democrat who will restore truth, justice, and dignity to the White House in 2020.
