At the next AFGE NOW Power Hour we are excited to discuss how we can move workers to action!
Join us on Tuesday, February 15 as we discuss the essence of union organizing: moving our coworkers to action. Building a union is about building power — that means helping people overcome fear, hesitancy, and disinterest to join and get active in our union.
There is a science to how we move folks, and how we build engaged members who take ownership of their union. There is a science to how we move folks to action, whether it is signing a petition, attending a meeting, calling their representatives, or attending a rally. During this discussion we will learn valuable skills and hear from local leaders who are doing the work of moving their coworkers to action!
