Last night, I was on the Chris Hayes show to discuss the public impeachment hearings, which begin tomorrow.

As I have stated before, the allegations against the president are profound and if true, represent impeachable offenses.

Tomorrow, we enter a vitally important phase: the American people will see and hear the facts and details of the allegations. They will see and hear from Americans who have dedicated their lives to public service and will testify this week before the American public regarding the alleged actions of the President.

We’re at a crucial and solemn moment in our country’s history. Yesterday, I spent the day with veterans across our community, honoring their service, sacrifice, and devotion to our American ideals. Today, I remain focused, as I always have been, on serving the people of Central Virginia each and every day, and upholding the oath, that I, too, swore to protect and defend the Constitution.
