Hello, I wanted to reach out to you today to ask for your support in a time of need. Right now Americans for Safe Access is struggling to find financial support to continue its important work. For over two decades, ASA has been at the forefront of promoting medical cannabis access for everyone who needs it. Before ASA stood up for safe and legal access, there was a continuing threat of dispensaries being raided and patients and consumers getting arrested. ASA brought the patient’s voice to the table and shifted the debate to the real concerns: legal access and civil rights. The industry has almost fully turned their back on advocacy as they turn their focus on growth of their business. However the country is still in great need of advocacy if we are to ever finally see full legalization in the U.S. Now is not the time to turn away from advocacy, it is the time to support it more than ever!

For us to continue our work, we need financial support and we need it immediately. While we have managed for so long on the support of members, most of whom are patients, we ask that you help take the burden off of them, by signing up for one of our limited-time sponsorship packages below.

Most notably, if you could provide us with one of the following donations by the end of the week (Feb 11), we will include you as a sponsor of our upcoming 2021 State of the State report <[link removed]>. If you are not familiar with this report, it is the biggest report we do each year, and is sent to legislators, policy makers, health orgs, and tons of media outlets across the country. This year it will also be included as a reading source for all students in the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics Program for their new Medical Cannabis Advocacy course. This year's release is even more exciting because of a few new inclusions, including 2 new categories Affordability, and Health and Social Equity, as well as a new "penalties" section.
