Erica worked grueling dawn-to-dusk hours on her family's farm growing up -- allowing her to appeal to rural and urban constituencies alike while representing much of this congressional district for three terms in the State Senate.
She's a rising star.
Erica's spent her life fighting for small communities and farmers -- while challenging CEOs, Wall Street bankers, and corrupt politicians. She's the rare Democrat running for Congress making a progressive economic case to farmers and rural voters…and it’s working!

As a state senator, Erica fought corporations polluting her community with industrial toxins and went head-to-head with payday lenders trying to trick workers and families.
