Greg Abbott is using the Texas National Guard on a political stunt of a mission that violates human rights and harms service members. And we think EVERY Texan needs to know about it.

Here's what's happening:
Greg Abbott is sending 10,000 Texas National Guard troops to counties near the US-Mexico border to (often unlawfully) arrest immigrants for non-immigration crimes -- and they’re there indefinitely.
The people being arrested are being kept in unsafe local jails for months without trial in incredibly unsafe conditions.
Not to mention, to pay for this deployment, the state of Texas has had to cut tuition benefits offered to active service members by more than half, and 4 members of the National Guard have died by suicide since the beginning of this operation.
And what’s more, this isn’t even really legal -- state governments do not have the authority to enforce immigration law.
So to recap, Greg Abbott is breaking the law, violating human rights, and jeopardizing Texas service members. Y'all, he’s got to go.
