Last week Roy signed a major sexual assault reform bill into law.

This bill strengthens protections for survivors of sexual assault, protects children from sexual abuse and helps survivors seeks justice against abusers.

This is a huge step forward for our state, and the provisions of this law will help ensure North Carolina is a safe place for all.

We’re thankful that Roy took a stand to protect survivors of sexual assault.
