In recent years, Republicans, led mostly by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, have fully embraced the “Great Replacement Theory” to the point of making it a principle of their party.

Immigrants still believe in the American dream, as they have for centuries. Those fleeing violence and poverty that seek asylum in the U.S. are following that well-charted path that has shaped this nation from the very beginning.
Migrants are not invading a country. Immigrants are what makes America great and allow us to live up to the standards put forth by our founding fathers over 200 years ago. We need real common sense solutions that support the immigrants who already call the U.S. home with fair, humane, and timely solutions for those now seeking asylum.
