The Six PAC endorses Braden Murphy for CA Board of Equalization, District 1. First $5,000 matched - donate!
Congress isn’t the only way we can make progressive change. We need to build progressive power down-ballot.

That’s why the Six PAC is excited to announce our first state and local endorsement: Braden Murphy for California Board of Equalization, District 1.

Braden is a proud father of four and progressive activist who was born with cerebral palsy.

His experiences with our broken healthcare system have inspired him to fight for fully-funded government programs that work.

The California Board of Equalization administers taxes on property, alcohol, railroads, and insurance, working to ensure fair tax rates between different counties. Braden is running to ensure that corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share.

The Six PAC is matching the first $5,000 we raise for Braden’s historic campaign to flip CA BOE District 1 from red to blue. Can you donate $10 or more today?

Braden is running to flip a sprawling district that contains most of California’s rural, non-coastal areas, as well as Democratic cities like Sacramento, Fresno, and Bakersfield.

CA BOE’s 1st District is the most competitive seat on the Board – and this toss-up district is the only one under Republican control.

Braden is running to restore fairness to California’s tax system, so that we can fund priorities for California families like universal health care and pre-kindergarten.

For decades, right-wing and corporate forces have focused on down-ballot races, because they know that building power nationally starts with local offices like state legislatures, school boards, and tax assessors. We’re fighting to elect rural progressives everywhere.

The Six PAC is matching the first $5,000 we raise for Braden Murphy’s red-to-blue campaign for CA Board of Equalization. Can you chip in today?

Thanks for standing up.
