What changed? Los Angeles County elected District Attorney George Gascón in
2020 and he has spent every day in office endangering the very residents that
elected him.

Gascón has embraced radical, pro-criminal, anti-law endorsement policies to
fulfill his dangerous ideology. His policies have ratcheted down punishment to
its bare minimum and significantly reduced the prosecution of crime.And what’s
been the result?

Murders, gang shootings, organized theft and crime rates have skyrocketed.

Instead of cops, Gascón wants social workers to calm down a bank robber or
rapist. Then, instead of prison, he wants the criminals to get therapy instead
of a cell.

George Gascón is redesigning the entire criminal justice system to the
benefit of criminals at the expense of victims of the crime and at the expense
of every resident in Los Angeles County.

Upon taking office in December of 2020, Gascón implemented several special
directives for his prosecutors in the county to follow…
* Do not pursue the death penalty
* Prevent youth offenders from being tried as adults
* Almost entirely restrict the use of sentencing enhancements in cases
More than 90% of narcotics involved cases taken to the Gascón’s Office this
year have been rejected.

In the first six months of 2021, over 5,900 of the cases brought to the DA’s
office by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department were rejected as a result of
Gascón’s special directives.

We cannot afford to wait another two years to get George Gascón out of office.
The damage he has caused is extreme and in another two years, the damage may be
irreversible.
