Last quarter, 53 Republicans cleared the $500,000 fundraising mark. On the Democratic side, only 38 candidates can say the same.

This is only part of the story: Republican candidates are posting huge fundraising hauls — Kevin McCarthy recently raised $9.5 million in one single night, GOP PACs are fundraising like crazy, and Trump started 2022 with a $122 million campaign war chest.

So, team, we’re sounding the alarm.

We study these numbers everyday to figure out what kind of goals we need to set for our own team. And in this critical midterm year, the race to raise is on. We’re beginning to staff up for David’s reelection campaign, and we’re looking at Democrats who are facing tough reelection bids all around the country.

As a result, our team has set a February fundraising goal of $4,000 total raised by midnight on February 28th.
