When I was in college, I decided I wanted to become a doctor. My grandfather was a child psychiatrist, and I always admired him. What’s more, I had family members that suffered from chronic illnesses - I wanted to help people like them.

I have always been close to my family. My parents and grandparents inspired me to work hard in service of others.

So I became an EMT, and later started a home healthcare business. My eyes were opened - hundreds of thousands of people in rural areas were not getting the care they needed. One more rural doctor wasn’t going to fix the structural problems in our state.

That’s when I decided to run for office. And I won. I will tell you more about my story, and my fight for access to rural healthcare throughout Montana, in my next email. But, John, can I count on you to chip in just $5 to my campaign for healthcare reforms?
