Dear Friend of Israel,
Last month, The Jerusalem Post cited a new report that found the Palestinian Authority continues to publish children’s textbooks that encourage violence against Israelis and include antisemitic messages.
The report came from The Institute for Monitoring Peace and Tolerance in School Education, which noted that the newly published materials come despite the PA's agreement with the EU to ensure new textbooks would be free of hateful educational content.
The report said the PA has produced thousands of pages of new material – much of it directly propagating violence and overt antisemitism.
For instance, some materials teach of the “characteristics” of Jews who are devious and treacherous, and Israelis, who are described as “Satan’s aide.”
The new content also inspires children to pursue "jihad" and to remove all Jews from Israel, saying that jihad is the “private obligation for every Muslim.”

We must continue to work with America's leaders to stand against violent incitement that makes it harder to achieve peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
America should continue to work with the EU and other allies to urge stricter monitoring of the content in textbooks and to demand that the Palestinian Authority stop indoctrinating children to hate and kill.

Your support helps ensure we have the resources needed to work with Americas leaders and educate them about this and other dangers facing the Jewish state.
