Is it just me or does this make you think of how the Terminator franchise started?

Autonomous robot dogs are now being used to patrol the southern border of the USA. Do you think their use will only be related to illegal immigration?

"Autonomous" means these robots make decisions without human input. They aren't currently armed but have the capacity to carry a "payload." That spooks the snot out of me.
