With term limits and redistricting, voters have the chance to elect a new state representative. It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as your Downriver state representative and I hope to continue that service as I begin our journey to the Michigan state senate.
With that, today, I’m excited to announce my endorsement of Jaime Churches to be your next state representative for the 27th house district. This new state house district covers Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Trenton, Riverview, part of Southgate, and Wyandotte.
Jaime is the best candidate because, as a teacher, she sees real life challenges our students and teachers face, and the tough decisions our parents have had to make. She has the heart, grit and determination to lead for Downriver and continue the great work we started just six years ago.
We’re going to need a lot of resources to keep Downriver Blue in 2022. Can you split a donation between Jaime and me today?
