"E.P.A. to Limit Science Used to Write Public Health Rules"
-New York Times
John --
The EPA wants to limit the use of scientific data in public health rules. This is dangerous to the health of Americans and to our planet.
Public health science often uses confidential health records. If the Administration gets its way, it will not allow these kind of scientific studies to inform the EPA's rule-making authority. This will result in bad and uninformed EPA decision making.
As a doctor, I will always fight to protect the health of Alaskans and patient confidentiality. And if elected to the U.S. Senate, I will always fight to use facts, not fiction to make public policy.
But we can't wait for the next election to stop Trump's EPA from implementing this rule change.
We need to act now -- and DC Politicians like Dan Sullivan need to hear our concerns. Add your name to stop the EPA from limiting science in decision making at the expense of our health and environment.
