Crypto.com Arena - Cancel the Rodeo
The Rodeo is Coming to Los Angeles on 2/22/2022
Tell the Crypto.com Arena to Cancel the Event!

John,

On February 22nd, animal abuse will be on full display in Los Angeles as the Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center) hosts the Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) Pluto TV Invitational. Rodeos glorify animal abuse. Demand the Crypto.com Arena cancel the upcoming event and sign the petition.

SIGN THE PETITION

Currently, the L.A. City Council has an ordinance in motion that would ban the use of the cruel devices that force rodeo animals to perform, including those used in bull riding and the upcoming PBR event. These devices include flank or bucking straps, electric prods, and fixed or sharpened spurs or rowels. Unfortunately, the L.A. City Council is dragging their heels on the bill, and the rodeo is back in L.A. It is up to us to protect the animals!

SIGN THE PETITION

LCA has sent a coalition letter to the Crypto.com Arena urging them to cancel the PBR event. To date we have not received a response.

Animals do not perform naturally in rodeo events. Rather, they are terrorized into performing with the help of these cruel devices. For example, bulls do not buck naturally. “Flank” or “bucking” straps are often cinched tightly around the flanks of these animals and pulled so tightly it causes them to buck in futile attempts to remove the straps and relieve the discomfort caused by them.

Thank you for taking action on behalf of the animals!

For the animals,
Mandy
