Newsom wants more than 4 BILLION dollars from taxpayers, in this economy?
Our governor is requesting more funding to complete his vastly behind-schedule and over-budget high speed rail system. It started in 2008 and is supposed to span 380 miles.
Now, almost 15 years later, he wants more funding. This is not to finish the project, but to finish the first 171 miles. And the original budget has now expanded to $100 billion.
Tell Gavin to spend our money on California’s real issues
All of this, when our state is plagued by drought, homelessness, crime, and wildfires. Taxpayer money could go towards any of these crises, rather than Newsom’s black hole of an infrastructure project.
