As members of NLC’s National Board of Directors, we are inspired by the seemingly infinite ways that Fellows, alumni, and volunteers make ripple effects across the country. This video was made for new leaders, by new leaders. NLC HQ partnered with Backbone Digital , founded by Jess Moore Matthews (New York City ‘20). Jess and her team did a phenomenal job capturing the energy of our movement and representing the many identities we hold.
[link removed] [[link removed]]NLC is redefining leadership. No longer can we rely on the “winner-takes-all” form of leadership that leaves community members out of decision-making conversations; no longer can we wait for the singular hero to save the day. We need a new kind of leader.
Together, we are creating a leaderful network, because equitable change requires more collaboration and connectivity. We are building multi-faceted leaders whose perspectives and passions fuel permanent, collective impact.
