Dear John,

When we say how much there is on the line in this election, and why it's so important to get Mike Garcia out, we are talking about the real impact it will have on people's lives.

Right here in this district, Omicron continues to wreak havoc on daily life. Families are struggling to make ends meet – all while the housing crisis has only gotten much worse. Since the beginning of COVID, housing costs in the Antelope and San Fernando Valley have soared to record prices, forcing families out of their homes and exacerbating an already critical homelessness crisis.

The median home price in San Fernando Valley is at a staggering $995,000, making the dream of owning a home out of reach for so many families.

The people of this district deserve better. While Mike Garcia continues to ignore the crisis in our community, Christy is out working for policies that would make the lives of Californians better.

We need to flip CA-27 from red to blue so we can finally have a leader like Christy who will address the real issues this district is facing, including housing. >>> That's why Christy supports Build Back Better, which would allocate billions of dollars for affordable housing, rent, and mortgage assistance. That's why she supports a national strategy to address homelessness. That's why she authored major legislation during her time as a California Assemblywoman to make college affordable, so everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

What has Mike Garcia done? The answer: not much. Nearly nothing.

We need Christy in Congress.

Chip in $5 to send Christy to Congress so she can fight for affordable housing and finally bring much needed relief to working Californians. >>>
Republicans have shown us time and time again they aren't interested in governing. They care more about appeasing corporate donors than making policies that will help working people.

We need a leader like Christy who will fight for the needs of working Americans with the urgency this crisis requires.

Thank you so much for your support,

Team Christy
