Allow me to be frank with you…

In the last month, we have seen two Republican challengers announce their campaigns — and in that short period of time they have been rapidly out-raising us.

Thanks to Republican gerrymandering efforts in Georgia, my district is as competitive as it’s been in decades. This has led to national GOP organizations honing in on our race. They have begun funneling in money and resources to flip my seat — and with it, the House majority.

I am writing to you today because I want to emphasize that the next few months won't be easy, and every single moment from here until Election Day matters. Republicans both in-state and across the country will be pouring money into this race, so I need your help.
