Hi John — it’s Sophia Shapiro! I’m Josh’s daughter, and I wanted to reach out to his grassroots team to tell you why I’m so proud of my dad for running for Governor.

Ever since his first campaign (when I was just a few years old!), my dad has always made it a mission to help other people and take on the big fights for Pennsylvanians. I grew up watching him go to work every day, determined to make a real difference in Pennsylvanians’ lives.

There’s so much I’ve learned from my dad, at home and watching him at work — values like fighting for what’s right and having compassion for others. But one of the most important things I’ve learned from him is how to put in hard work when you really care about something.

My dad puts his whole heart into his work, and I know how much it would mean to him to see his team chipping in to support his campaign. Could you chip in $1, $5, or whatever you can today to help his campaign?

My dad lives by these words: “take on the big fights.”

He’s done that as our Attorney General. He exposed the Catholic Church’s decades-long cover up of child sexual abuse. He defended our votes and the results of the 2020 election. And he just won a landmark $70 million settlement with a predatory student loan company, which absolves students of their debt.

But now my dad’s taking on the next big fight: winning this Governor’s race to protect our democracy and our rights. But he’s not one to back down from a fight. He never has, and he never will. My dad’s going to put in the work to win this race, and we need to do the same.
