OLCV Town Hall with Senator Wyden
Date: Saturday, February 26th, 2022
Time: 1pm
Location: Zoom (link sent to RSVPs)
RSVP and submit your question here!

Senator Wyden is a climate champion, and at this critical time, he is continuing to work hard to get the Build Back Better Act across the finish line. He hasn’t given up, and neither have the people of Oregon. While lawmaking is never easy, Congress has made progress over the last several months. They passed the bipartisan infrastructure package, which will bring needed investments to Oregon, including funding to help us adapt and protect against some of the worst impacts of climate change. And our chance for significant action to help prevent worsening climate change – the Build Back Better Act – passed the U.S. House of Representatives before getting stalled in the Senate. We know there have been setbacks, but there's too much at stake for our climate and our future to stop now.

RSVP today to join OLCV for a virtual town hall with Senator Wyden on February 26th. You’ll get the inside scoop and a chance to ask your question. Senator Wyden will be discussing how the investments from the bipartisan infrastructure package will make a difference here in Oregon, as well as why it’s not enough on its own. The Build Back Better Act is unfinished business that we can’t afford to give up on.

The Build Back Better Act would be the strongest action the U.S. has ever taken on climate change, and it's what scientists say we need to protect our future. Learn more at the town hall about how you can help get this historic bill across the finish line.

We hope to see you there!

Thank you for all you do!

Lindsey Scholten
Deputy Director, OLCV
