Max Rose flipped NY-11 – a seat covering pieces of Brooklyn and Staten Island – from red-to-blue in 2018. During his first term in Congress, he secured permanent funding for health care for our 9/11 heroes, worked to fight the opioid epidemic, and enacted split-tolling and other key measures to reduce traffic at no extra cost to his constituents.

But a resurgence of Republican power in parts of New York cost Max his seat in 2020.

Prior to his election to Congress, Max served our country in Afghanistan, and his decorations include the Ranger tab, the Combat Infantryman Badge, a Bronze Star, and a Purple Heart. And following his first term in Congress, Max stepped up to serve as a Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense under President Biden.
