We’re running full steam ahead to win New York’s 22nd Congressional District. We’re going to criss-cross this new district, from Syracuse to Ithaca to Auburn to Geneva to Seneca Falls to Cortland to Cazenovia, and everywhere in between!
But, here’s the deal, John. This campaign is going to be very expensive — there are a lot of new voters to talk to and ground to cover.
Our campaign isn’t accepting one penny from corporate PACs. Instead, we rely on committed grassroots supporters like you, John. That’s what makes these emails so important, and why we need your help today.

This week, New York enacted new congressional districts for the 2022 election. While the districts' boundaries have changed, the key issues have not, and our campaign is moving forward full-steam ahead.
Upstate New Yorkers have been sold out by a political and economic system that rewards special interests and hurts working families. Upstate New York has experienced a generation of job losses while Wall Street has seen corporate profits soar. Many Upstate New Yorkers are living paycheck-to-paycheck while the top 1% have accumulated more wealth than the entire Middle Class combined. And politicians continue to receive payouts from corporate PACs while everyday Americans are left to foot the bill.
It’s time for change, and I have the experience to deliver. I’ve spent my career taking on big fights for the little guy in court, breaking through partisan gridlock to get things done in Congress, and standing up to the Trump Administration’s discriminatory immigration policies.
I believe that all Upstate New Yorkers deserve a Square Deal: if you work hard, play by the rules, and treat others with decency, then you should have a fair shot at the Middle Class. When I’m elected to Congress, I will work every day to create new jobs and economic opportunities that lift everyone up and bring everyone along.
