News of the Week
This week we kicked off the Meet MAGA Mo Townhall Tour in Athens on Saturday. It was a great crowd and they had some really good questions. I can’t wait to have many more townhall events in every corner of the state. We’ll see you in your community soon!
In Case You Missed It
Per an AL.com article <[link removed]> published last week, Katie Britt finally signed and bragged about an online pledge to merely investigate Dr. Anthony Fauci and support legislation cutting his salary to $0, but curiously not to fire him. As politicians often do, Mike Durant criticized Britt for not going far enough… without saying what he would have done differently.
I would like to thank my primary opponents for finally following (but still lagging behind) my lead concerning Dr. Fauci. I called for Dr. Fauci’s firing more than 8 months ago, like in this press conference in the US Capitol from last June!
While Britt and Durant are content being a year late and a dollar short, I have led the way. America needs more fighters in the U.S. Senate.
Last Week
Last week I was in Washington blocking Nancy Pelosi’s radical agenda. I voted “No” on the “America Concedes to China Act.” The nearly 3,000 page bill, among other things, authorizes importing an unlimited number of foreign workers who take jobs from and suppress the wages of struggling American workers and their families. Since Pelosi refuses to address the Biden Border Crisis in the Capitol, a group of conservative Congressmen called for an off-site hearing, where the national media could hear from expert witnesses about the tragedy occurring at our southern border.
