We wanted to make sure you saw the good news, folks:

On Friday, the North Carolina Supreme Court struck down maps drawn by our Republican-controlled legislature as an illegal partisan gerrymander. Our government must be of, by, and for the people — not for one political party.

Please, take a moment to read Josh’s message, and then add your name to his petition calling for fair maps here in North Carolina. [[link removed]]

This ruling is a huge victory for North Carolina voters — but the fight to protect our democracy is far from over.

Thanks,

Team Stein

Fantastic news, friend:

The North Carolina Supreme Court just struck down the legislative and congressional maps as an unconstitutional partisan gerrymander. The maps violate a voter's fundamental right to vote and must be redrawn.

This is a crucial victory for North Carolina voters. Our democracy was founded on the principle that the people should choose their representatives — not the other way around, and tonight’s ruling is a critical step forward in delivering that promise to the people of North Carolina.

I am committed to continuing to fight for our democracy, and against anti-democratic practices like partisan gerrymandering, and I’m glad to have your support. I hope you’ll consider pitching in to keep our work going strong: [[link removed]]
