News highlights from the Verified Voting team

Dear Friend,
The reports from the field are in from Election Day 2019 - and, as expected, many voters came away from their voting experiences with questions and concerns, whether they were still voting on an electronic device with no paper record or even experiencing their first time voting with a paper ballot. And with many jurisdictions still implementing new voting systems before next year's elections, we have a lot of work ahead of us.
Help us ([link removed]) ensure election officials have the tools and resources they need (see one of our latest publications ([link removed]) here) to implement best practices ([link removed]) before the 2020 election: paper ballots (marked with a pen or using a computerized assistive device), an opportunity for voters to verify their ballots, a strong chain of custody of the ballots, rigorous post-election audits ([link removed]) , and the funding ([link removed]) to make it all happen.
(If you voted on November 5, what was your experience at the polls? Let us know by clicking here to fill out this short survey!) ([link removed])
