Hi John,
Last month, I asked my team to send each of you a poll asking what your #1 issue for 2022 is – and I was thrilled to see thousands of responses! Here are the results:

As you know, I’m a numbers guy through and through, so I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know what’s important to you. Whether it’s healthcare, the economy, voting rights or the environment, I’ll always be fighting for you in Congress. Please chip in now so I can continue leading these fights for our communities!
So many of you told me that healthcare is your top priority, and I completely agree that our healthcare system is simply not working. This is personal for me: my brother David was born 10 weeks premature and needed multiple surgeries – which my parents would not have been able to afford without insurance. I believe that healthcare is fundamentally a justice issue: the quality and accessibility of healthcare should not depend on your zip code or your income. It’s a human right. That’s why I’m working to cap prices for prescription drugs (for example insulin at $35/month), and also attract more doctors to underserved communities like mine.
I also wanted to share a comment that I found incredibly meaningful: one supporter, Alexandra, said her number one issue is voting rights, because “without it, our voices can’t be heard on any of these other issues.” And she’s exactly right. Right now, Republicans are passing sweeping voter restrictions that unfairly target communities of color and other marginalized groups, undermining the very foundation of our democracy. I refuse to let our voices be silenced, and I’m incredibly proud to have cast a critical vote for the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to fight back.
John, I’m committed to fighting for the reforms we so desperately need. Will you chip in $19 today so that I can keep working for the issues you care most about in Congress?
