Recently, Tammy Duckworth spoke out on violence against Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Communities:

In the Senate, Tammy is a leader on the issue of protecting members of the AANHPI community against acts of bigotry.

Last year, she joined Senator Mazie Hirono in getting the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act passed through the Senate to protect AANHPI communities against the spike in hate crimes that we’ve seen throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. President Biden later signed this bill into law.

Tammy Duckworth will always support action to ensure the safety of underrepresented communities. That’s just who she is, and that’s why we’re so proud to be on her team.
