I want to set the record straight --

Mitch McConnell would like you to think House Democrats are too obsessed with the “impeachment witch hunt” (see also, upholding our constitutional oath) to get anything done.

But the reality is our Democratic House majority has passed over 150 bipartisan bills that would take necessary action to protect the Affordable Care Act, combat the climate crisis, secure our elections, and make progress on other crucial issues.

In short, we’re doing what the American people sent us to Washington to do.

I won’t give up until we deliver the change that McConnell is determined to stop. That’s why our team has set an aggressive new goal to mobilize 300 grassroots donors and show Mitch that we’ve got an army behind us — will you chip in to help me fight back?

Under Mitch McConnell’s failed leadership, Senate Republicans are refusing to bring a single one of the House-passed bills up for a vote. That’s because he’s working for Donald Trump and special interests, not for you.

I’ve told you before, asking you for money is my least favorite part of this job. But making real progress on the issues that matter most starts with defending battleground districts like this one.

Unlike my opponent, I’m not cashing giant checks from wealthy Republican donors or ultra-conservative Super PACs. I’m relying on people like you — will you be one of the 300 donors we need to step up and show the strength of our movement?
