[Show your love this Valentine's Day]([link removed])
Valentine’s Day is almost here! As you reflect on the people and causes dearest to you, we invite members of our AFSP community to establish a legacy of love through one simple action: [creating an estate plan that supports the causes you care about, while supporting your loved ones]([link removed]).
Estate planning is an essential legal step for everyone, and an important act of love and care for the people that make your life special. But 70% of Americans don’t have an up-to-date plan in place, in part because the process can feel overwhelming or they don’t know where to begin.
We’re here to help. Through our partners at FreeWill, creating an estate plan is completely free, and can be a concrete way to:
- Show your love for your family, friends, and pets
- Exercise agency over the important decisions in your life, including planning for your assets
- Play a crucial role in saving lives by planning an optional gift at no immediate cost, and show your loving support to those affected by suicide

If you already have an estate plan in place and would like to make AFSP aware that you have included us as a beneficiary, please let us know by completing a [Legacy of Hope planned giving form]([link removed]).
Join AFSP in leaving a legacy of hope for a world free of suicide. The advancements of tomorrow begin today!
