Redistricting was always one of the biggest unknowns for our campaign. We didn't know if we would end up in a redder district, a bluer one, or hell, drawn into a new one entirely!

It's why we've been waiting to hire a field team and open up Hahn headquarters (HQ) - we couldn't plan too far ahead without a map.

Now that we know where our new district lines are, and how winnable our seat is, we've got to act quickly to introduce new voters to Kara, get our message out, and ensure every Democrat knows how crucial it is to flip this seat and defend our House majority.

Will you chip in $5 or anything you can so that we can rent space for our HQ, hire field staff, and get to work introducing our new neighbors to Kara?

One more thing worth mentioning is Lee Zeldin's thoughts on redistricting. Take a look: "They are saying the new lines create a 1st District that Biden carried by 11 points, but that’s on the basis of how those people felt and voted in November 2020. If you look at how they felt and voted a year later, in November 2021, that’s a very different story." We hate to say it, but Zeldin might have a point (and hey, even broken clocks are right twice a day!)

The worst thing we can do is take our new district for granted, John. If we aren't actively seeking out our new neighbors and bringing them into our camp – we'll miss our best opportunity to flip the 1st blue in nearly a decade.

Opening up Hahn HQ and hiring a field staff as soon as possible is mission-critical to seizing the opportunity right here in front of us. If we fall short, the fallout will have severe, national consequences.
