Republican efforts to suppress the vote are showing no signs of slowing down. In Florida, Georgia, and Arizona, the GOP is moving full speed ahead toward establishing police forces that specialize in hunting for voter fraud.

They deem this a necessary initiative to maintain the integrity of elections in their respective states after asserting unfounded claims of “massive election fraud.”

But we know that protecting the ballot box is not exactly what the GOP stands for. By establishing police forces to root out voter fraud, they are simply deploying yet another tactic intended to keep Americans from voting.

So, let’s call this out for what it is: voter suppression. And if Republicans are to take back the House in November, there’s no telling what tactics they will deploy on a national scale to help them secure the White House in 2024.
