Friends -- We've been checking the numbers since this morning, and we're still far short of where we need to be to keep our response ads on the air. With the attacks against the Governor escalating, this is very bad news. We're still more than $5,100 short of our grassroots fundraising goal.

In a race as close as this, having to cut back anywhere could spell disaster. If we're going to hold onto the lead, we need to keep these ads on the air. Eddie Rispone and his deep-pocketed friends are going to ramp up their attacks as Election Day approaches -- and we must keep pace.
