Friend, I know we're still celebrating a great week for Virginia Democrats, but we have some troubling news from Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.

FiveThirtyEight ran an article analyzing 2020 Senate races and they rated Virginia's partisan lean as only D+0.1!

Remember, Mark only won his last race in 2014 by less than 1%, so there's no doubt about it: this WILL be a tough race.

Even though we had a good week, we can't take anything for granted. We have to start preparing now if we're going to carry this momentum into 2020. Can you chip in -- any amount -- today to help send Mark back to the Senate?

Since Virginia will be a battleground state in next year's presidential election, the Trump campaign has already begun pouring money into our Commonwealth in an effort to turn it red -- and defeat Mark.

The Trump campaign even located its headquarters in Northern Virginia! That's how much they're investing in simultaneously flipping Virginia and Mark's seat.

Six years ago, when Mark last ran for re-election, polls consistently had him leading Ed Gillespie by double digits. Political experts even rated his race as a Likely D win.

But when the dust settled, Mark won by 0.8%, or 17,727 votes. Virginia is always competitive and 2020 won't be an exception.

We need to raise enough money before 2019 ends so we can head into 2020 fired up and ready to expand our team, run ads, and knock doors. How much we're able to raise depends on you. Can you pitch in today?
