The Republicans in this race are finding every way possible to embarrass themselves, but Mark Walker took the crown recently with his Waffle House tweets.

In case you missed it, here’s the tweet that started it all:

Rep Mark Walker's tweet: It's not for the faint of heart or DC elitists but there is nothing like late night Waffle House on the campaign trail.

This led to a lot of questions. Such as: Who wears a suit to Waffle House? Is it possible to have a more lame hashbrown order? Where is his fork?

Even when he tried to defend himself, it appeared he lied and tweeted a different Waffle House meal from a different location… yes, it was weird.

But this is what we’ve come to expect from our opponents. They’re typical, out-of-touch politicians who lie and pretend to be voices for working people while they push the agenda of their corporate donors and extreme far-right interests.

Fortunately, we have the chance to send a champion for our families who will actually be a voice for the people to the Senate. A woman who will not waffle on the issues: Cheri Beasley.
