I am excited to tell you that DFA’s Text Out The Vote program is back.

That’s right, our highly successful texting program which helped us kick Trump out of office, hold the House, and win back the Senate is starting up again, this time to help us Flip the South and elect progressives across Texas.

DFA is now kicking our Flip the South work into full gear as we prepare to elect three standout progressive candidates in Texas.

And with Texas’s March 1st primary right around the corner, there is no time to waste.

It takes a big, grassroots-led team to contact hundreds of thousands of voters. So, whether you’re an experienced texter with DFA or are signing up for your first ever texting shift, we need you to join our team of incredible volunteers by signing up for a shift (or several shifts) between now and Texas’s March 1st primary >>

The fight to stop and overcome voter suppression does not have an overnight solution. It takes work -- day after day, month after month, and year after year.

That’s what our Flip the South Campaign is all about, working hard for the long term so we can achieve things most people believe aren't possible.

As you know, this work isn’t just about electing Democrats. It’s about electing Democrats who will fight for Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. It’s about Democrats who will protect a woman’s right to choose, fight for multiracial inclusive populism, and take on Wall Street, corporate banks, and insurance companies.

That’s why DFA is working to help elect Jessica Cisneros TX-28, Jasmine Crockett TX-30, and Greg Casar TX-35.

Our team is fighting hard to elect progressive Democrats in states across the country. We’re laying down the critical groundwork to win, but it takes a whole lot of resources -- time, people, and money -- to win.
